What is Homeopathy?

Homeopathy is a holistic form of healing that uses remedies made from many substances found in nature. Based on natural law, the three main principles of homeopathy are:

1) Like cures like - Example: If you have swelling, redness and stinging, burning pain, with symptoms similar to a beesting, then homeopathic Apis made from bee venom would be the right remedy because like cures like.

2) Single remedy - This means that only one homeopathic remedy should be used at a time. Although you may find that more than one remedy can be given sometimes in cases of emergency, the classical approach to homeopathy is to only give one remedy at a time.

3) Minimum dose - The minimum dose that the body can respond to, is the correct dose. This is why homeopathy is given in very dilute doses, so dilute in fact, that only the energy of the original substance remains in the remedy. (This is why you never have to worry about any kind of toxicity from the remedies, regardless of what they are made from).

Even though we can't see the energy in the remedy, or even measure it with instruments available to science today, the homeopathic remedie's healing powers are still undeniable. Because homeopathy works for both babies and animals, there is no question of placebo effect, since babies and animals don't care whether the remedies work, and they work anyway. Therefore, if you can pinpoint the correct remedy for a case, homeopathy works, it is as simple as that.
